French Beer Dinner

We paired up once again with our friend, mug clubber, and talented chef Jake Williams for the latest in our dinner series. For this round, we’re bringing the picturesque French countryside home to Ferndale with carefully curated pairings designed to keep your palate in perfect harmony. Join us s’il vous plaît!
There will be two seatings on Saturday, April 15, 2023.
6:00 PM and 8:30 PM

Pate En Croute – delicious french style pate in brioche dough served with pickles and mustard
Paired with Wink Grisette, notes of fresh zested lemon peel, cracked peppercorns, honey dew melon, bread dough on the rise
French Salad – mixed baby greens, concasse tomato, green beans, egg, radishes, anchovy with a dijon style mustard vinaigrette
Paired with Amarillo Sticker, Dry Hopped Saison – notes of freshly proofed sourdough bread, white cracker, froot loop bubblegum, spicy herbs
Vichyssoise – chilled soup made of leeks and potatoes pureed with rich cream, topped with chives and brioche croutons.
Paired with Abbey Style Blonde – notes of orange marmalade on toast, peppercorn, bubblegum, touch of vanilla
Confit of Duck Leg with Cassoulet – slow roasted leg of duck cooked in duck fat with crispy skin, paired with white beans in a rich pork and vegetable broth, accompanied with tangy dark leafy greens.
Paired with Rye Kveik, Amber Ale – notes of holiday spice cakes, toasty bread crust, caramelized orange marmalade
Creme brulee – creamy egg and vanilla custard with “burnt” sugar, topped with fresh berries and mint.
Paired with French Oak Quad – notes of mellow oak, candied figs, touch of spice
