IPA with Simcoe, Amarillo, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin from Freestyle Hop Farm. Fermented with lager yeast. Piney blueberry, tropical diesel, floral ripe fruit and candied melon. Firm bitterness and dry finish. Why is this batch hazy? We brewed this batch of Ur Ded to Me as we always do. Same ingredients, lager yeast, same fermentation profile but the crop of Nelson we dry hopped with was from the best NZ hop farmer (in our opinion), Freestyle Hops. New Zealand hops are known to be more haze positive than any other hops in the world. This batch of Nelson produces an unmistakable fixed haze in this beer due to its very high oil content.

Oak-Aged Flanders Style Sour Ale We are pleased to release to you a beer three years in the making. We aged this beer in Portuguese Pedro Ximenez sherry as well as French oak wine barrels on a classic mixed culture of Lacto, Pedio and Brettanomyces. Over its extended stay in barrels it developed a balanced funk profile with a lightly tart acidity. It’s exhibiting characters of dark fruit leather, fancy pipe tobacco, funk and mature oak. Bourgogne d’ Ferndale is a nod to the original name of Flanders style sour ales. Traditionally being called the “Burgundy of Flanders”. We drew inspiration from this and are excited to offer you the Burgundy of Ferndale, Bourgogne d’ Ferndale

CIDER

    • 750ml

Using 100% Winesap apples from Porters Orchard in Northern Oakland County. We're getting impressions of Dole pineapple cups, balanced tannin, medium bodied, candied lemons. Delicate yet forthright in its character. This is a petillant, meaning lightly sparkling cider. Not bright and sparkly as our ciders have been in the past. This is an intentional technique from the wine and cider world that lets the apple and fermentation character shine on its own. This is a conscious choice in this cider in order to let a wonderful blend fully express itself.
