    Altbier is a smooth malt forward lagered ale. Alt, meaning "old", is a nod to the beers brewed before Cologne's answer to Pale Lager (Kölsch). This beauty is inspired by our time tasting through Düsseldorf’s finest and modeled after our favorite, Zum Eurige. Consists of a balanced base of Pils, Munich, Caramunich, and Carafa, and kissed with German Magnum and traditional Hallertauer Mittelfruh. Treated with our Kölsch ale strain and as always plunged into a deep slumber to ferment long, clean, and cold. This one is truly tasting awesome with notes of pumpernickel bread, herbal noble hop, whoppers candy, and a firm backbone of bitterness

    This beer is soured in the fermenter with Lactobacillus and then fermented with Norwegian Kveik in the primary phase. After fermentation we then dose the beer with whole Organic Raspberries for maximum flavor and color contribution.

    Oak-Aged Flanders Style Sour Ale We are pleased to release to you a beer three years in the making. We aged this beer in Portuguese Pedro Ximenez sherry as well as French oak wine barrels on a classic mixed culture of Lacto, Pedio and Brettanomyces. Over its extended stay in barrels it developed a balanced funk profile with a lightly tart acidity. It’s exhibiting characters of dark fruit leather, fancy pipe tobacco, funk and mature oak. Bourgogne d’ Ferndale is a nod to the original name of Flanders style sour ales. Traditionally being called the “Burgundy of Flanders”. We drew inspiration from this and are excited to offer you the Burgundy of Ferndale, Bourgogne d’ Ferndale

    10.0% Blended BBA Imperial Stout & Vanilla Cacao Baltic Porter // Yes, the name might be ironic given everything jammed into this beer, but making sure that one addition doesn’t overpower another while maximizing their best qualities was a never-ending tightrope act. The deep, fudgy body produced by the Ghana Cacao, the silky vanilla notes dancing in the aroma, and all rounded out by the beauty of the @twojames barrel while appropriately taming the big, boozy notes. All told, this is a roasty, chocolate-forward absolute stunner

    Collaboration with our friends at Ascension Brewing Co. // Inspired by our first foray in to Nelson hops back in 2012 via a beer called Alpine Nelson. A sturdy malt foundation with cracker & light toast lays counterpoint to a cannabis laden pine and tropical fruit bouquet. Plunge forward in to impressions of gooseberry, freshly harvested NYC diesel, tropical pine and satsuma mandarin marmalade. Full texture driven by the malt backbone and hearty rye grist. Finishing nice and bitter, dry and resinous.

MEAD

    It’s our pleasure to release to you another barrel aged delight from last seasons bountiful harvest. Cyser is a co-ferment of locally grown and pressed apples as well as Orange Blossom honey. After fermentation we conditioned this at length in Two James Rye Whiskey barrels. During its long slumber it took on a ton of character from the rye, as well as beneficial micro oxidation from the minutely porous wood. Expect impressions of spicy caramel green apples, bright lemon zest and with an herbaceous zing. Like nearly all of our cider and cyser, this finishes nice and dry with a spritely carbonation profile.

WINE

    Piquette made from spent Tay, Logan and Boysenberries. Fortified with Orange Blossom honey. Aged more than a year in Caledonia Spirits Gin Barrels. Served naturally petillant. A lovely low ABV wine spritzer

    A blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes that are hand picked and carefully whole cluster pressed. Peach and light red fruit aroma. Medium body.

    Old Mission Red. 90% Dornfelder, 10% Blaufrankisch, Old Mission Peninsula grapes. Deep dark color, medium body and low tannin red wine accenting intense fruit and gentle chocolate from the old oak barrel aging tones. Aged for 12 months in French Oak.
