Nordic Beer Dinner

October 29 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

You won’t want to miss out on this special menu. The dinner was inspired by travels throughout Denmark and Europe. Utilizing the bounty of the fall harvest and local Michigan products Chef Jake and Urbanrest Brewing Company are excited to feature a curated collaboration beer dinner.

There will be two seatings on October 29, 2022.

5:00 PM and 8:00 PM

First
Frikadeller – minced beef, pan fried + pickles
Hornindal Kveik – Organic pilsner malt, hops, Hornindal kveik yeast, locally foraged juniper. Notes of honey, orchard apples, candied yams with a soft and viscous texture. Unboiled, as is tradition.

Second
Local greens + blue cheese + radishes + crispy pork
Saison d’ Nord – Pilsner malt, wheat and oats. Hopped with MI cashmere. Notes of fermented lemons, freshly cracked pepper and sourdough.

Third
Trout Smorrebrod – smoked fish + remoulade + pickles + dill
Boiled Kveik Voss Style – Organic pilsner malt, hops, Voss Kveik yeast, locally foraged juniper. Boiled. Notes of clementine orange peel, light honey and floral citrus groves.

Main
Roasted Lamb + potatoes + braised cabbage + apples
Big Bobby Burns Wee Heavy – UK pale and crystal malt. Fermented with UK yeast. Notes of deep toffee, sweet caramel and freshly baked holiday bread.

Dessert
Chocolate Ice Cream + Fennel waffle crunch + strawberry guf
BBA Abbey Blonde – Abbey style blonde with Belgian malts and classic Chimay yeast. Aged in Valentine Mayor Pingree Bourbon barrels. Vanilla toffee, caramel, toasted bread crust.
